Here at Boyfriend Trouble we are just a few girls who have been through the mill like most women when it comes to men! The good news is we have all come out the other side mainly unscathed.

For me, the memory of the devestation I felt at the break down of my first ‘proper’ relationship is still a strong one! I felt as though I was the only person who had ever been through it and no-one, absolutely, no-one could possibly understand how I was feeling. Of course now, I realise almost everyone has experienced the hurt and angst that only a teenager can feel.

As time passed I married and unfortunately my marriage broke down and during this time I had to deal with not only a divorce but the realisation that I was dealing with betrayal, infidelity and lots more to boot. Although I was surrounded by friends it would have been nice to have been able to chat to someone impartial and sometimes it is easier to talk to someone you can’t see and you don’t know!

I thought it would be great to set up a site that can let girls have a talk and to share experiences – to try and help each other through the bad times. I’m sure though it won’t all be bad – I’m sure we can share some laughs along the way!

Not only will I be writing articles based on experience and research but we will have a trained social worker and counsellor writing articles and answering questions for us too.
